You can find courses on basic science listed under the Fundamentals topic area. The Clinical Cannabinoid Medicine Curriculum is a comprehensive learning program which includes courses in the fundamentals of cannabinoid medicine.
TMCI online courses educates clinicians, caregivers and patients on the history, pharmacology and delivery and dosage related to medical cannabis, as well as the underlying endocannabinoid system. For practicing clinicians, the curriculum also presents more detailed clinical practice and case study reviews. The Clinical Cannabinoid Medicine Curriculum is certified for up to 5.5 CME credits and 13 AAFP Elective Credits.
Currently, TMCI curricula offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours. We anticipate adding courses that offer additional credit types including pharmacy CEUs and CLE.
Must I claim CE credit immediately after completing a course? How long will my CE certificate be available for me to print?
You do not need to claim CE credit immediately after completing a course. You may claim credit when convenient to you by clicking on the Certificate and CME/CE link in the left-hand area of the My Courses page, and then follow the prompts to Request Credit. CE certificates will be available for up to 36 months upon completion. Note: As of Sept. 5, 2015, a copy of CE certificates for POT content can be obtained if needed by contacting Technical Support.
